Pastor Joshua Nathan encountered Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1983—a life-changing moment that marked the beginning of a journey rooted in faith, service, and obedience. On October 31st, 1992, he received a clear pastoral calling through the powerful charge in 2 Timothy 4:2: “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.”
In pursuit of this calling, he attended Jos ECWA Theological Seminary, where he deepened his theological foundation and passion for ministry. He began full-time pastoral service in 2002, and was officially ordained in 2012.
With a heart for teaching and discipleship, Pastor Joshua is known for his clear, compassionate, and Spirit-led preaching—focused on helping believers grow in their understanding of God’s Word and discover the fullness of their identity in Christ. His teaching ministry has impacted lives within and beyond Nigeria, as both a local pastor and a sought-after conference speaker.
Throughout his pastoral journey, he has served within the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) and has been instrumental in pioneering two churches—one in Kaduna, and the other in Abuja, Nigeria. His leadership and vision have not only birthed these communities but also nurtured their spiritual and numerical growth.
Pastor Joshua carries the true heart of a shepherd, with a deep desire to see believers live out the praxis of the Christian faith—faith in action, truth in life.
He is joyfully married to Tricia Nathan since 2003, and together, they are blessed with two wonderful children. His life continues to be a testimony of grace, obedience, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
